Once again, I don’t have much to post. Here’s another Calvin and Hobbes strip, by Bill Watterson. It has a pretty meaningful message, one we should try to remember when we fight our wars.
I’m pretty sure this was published during the Cold War, as it brings up the practices of deterrance and brinkmanship. An interesting take on it: in the end, most wars do indeed seem pretty useless, and, well, stupid. (*Cough cough, Crimea)
