I’ve been reading a biography on Einstein, and it brought back a lot of memories from physics class last year. Damn, that was one good class. Probably the best class I’ll ever have. More due to the tightness of the group, but the content was really fun too.
Speaking of which, the book made me reminisce about everything I learned in physics. I’ve forgotten the majority of it, and need to review it soon. From what I’ve pieced together so far, I can safely say that I was an idiot when we were actually learning the material. Such a dim fool. I don’t even know how I passed the course. So much of what we learned I’ve only recently been to fully appreciate. Things like the photoelectric effect and wave particle duality. After achieving a better understanding of these relatively simple concepts, I really don’t know how I survived last year. I can say, however, that a better understanding of the topic has made me realize how beautiful those topics are. Physics in itself is just so (for lack of a better word) cool; just so infinitely mind-boggling, and an absolute pleasure to learn. I hope I learn a lot more stuff like that in university.
My words can’t express it well enough, so I won’t bother trying to impress you with my subjectively spectacular vernacular. Physics is truly awesome.
